“At first, I thought of this gentle reminder as another tool to help me to be more effective and get things done. It helps me to check-in with my daily schedule. Over time, I was delighted to find that instead of being another pressure, it became a moment to pause and collect my thoughts and take a deep breath. I look forward to this soft reminder as a gift to myself.

This personal reminder has been so helpful; I find myself searching out other visual and audio signals to "pause". It’s a great feeling! It is a rest I use to center myself in the moment…..to live in the now and trust in the future. I ask myself if I could be doing more. It is great to take mini pauses to allow me to adjust my attitude and match my actions to my purpose.”

“From the moment I put the Pause bracelet on I felt a difference. Every day we go about our tasks, at work and home, always in a hurry, many times on a deadline or within a time frame. Our mind is always focused on tasks.

But the Pause changed my outlook. When the alert goes off I have a personal choice. Whether it is a personal goal such as prayer or meditation or special person or just to PAUSE, to put my thoughts in check and get on the path that is really important to me.

This path may change daily, but I now have a reminder to think about what is really important in my life -- not just the clutter of daily survival.

The name pause says it all: PAUSE -- SLOW DOWN, BREATHE, REFOCUS. Life moves so fast, a gentle reminder to pause is a welcome and refreshing change.

The first alert was a little surprising but I soon found it comforting. I usually do not wear any bracelet but had no problem with size or shape. In the beginning I thought 1 Sec. was too short but soon found it more than adequate.

When I take the Pause off, I feel something is missing. I guess I became attached to my gentle friend - that never judged me but motivated me to reevaluate what my personal goals are.”

“My pauses yesterday were very meaningful and insightful. It is serving as a meaningful tool in my days. Even if I really don't know what to do with my pause, I take 10 deep breaths. I am finding it to be very cleansing when my mind gets filled with clutter that normally creates anxiety for me. The pause acts as a buffer in between all the noise in my day.

Today, work has been especially challenging. I have so much to deal with and people have been treating me poorly, but when I have a minute to pause I go back to thinking this is temporary and it will pass. It simply reminds me to stay calm so I can reframe my thoughts. I take a moment to reflect on good things in my life and center myself back to positive thoughts. Previously I would hold on to all my anger and reflect it back at people. I was miserable in the way I was treated and the way I treated others. Today my pauses are helping me to stay centered and positive.

I am enjoying my pauses so much and I am thankful that I have this in my life now.”

“I really love the bracelet. I feel empowered to be a good person. It’s a subtle reminder to be in a good mood, to be nice to people, to say thanks for all that I have and to enjoy being alive. I have three examples to share that helps explain how this is affecting me:

1) My husband is in Europe right now and we keep missing each other so I haven’t talked to him in 2 days. My pause went off yesterday but because of the time difference, I couldn’t call him. So instead of dismissing the thought, I emailed him and just said I love you.

2) Today, someone was driving like an idiot right in front of a hospital that is on my regular route to the office. My pause went off right then and I changed my reaction. Usually I would curse them out and use mean hand gestures but today I thought “they’re probably stressed because they are going to the hospital and who knows what their situation is.” Instead, I just slowed down and sent them good thoughts.

3) The bracelet also offers an additional layer of awareness. I don’t wait for the pause to go off to do something good…I am more aware of taking action even in between the pauses. For example; when someone at the office says “Hi, how are you?” I usually say, “I’m fine” or “can’t complain.” But I’ve started saying “I’m doing great!” I figure it puts me in a good frame of mind but also shares enthusiasm with others. Maybe they’ll rethink their bad mood if they see that I’m in a good one.

I really like the change in mindset this provides me. Wearing the bracelet empowers me to choose to be happy, thankful, aware, kind, positive and hopeful! I feel a sense of relief when my pauses go off. This is truly groundbreaking!”

“Pause is something that goes beyond logic and is an experience for a way of life opposed to just a product. The value in which it brings will depend on what the user decides for themselves which for me was greater than I would have ever expected. Based on how it was described, I was willing to try it out but deep down thought anything that Pause would do I could most likely program my smart phone to accomplish the same thing. I was so wrong and would recommend to anyone to give it an honest try and be open to awareness at a deeper level than you would initially think is possible.

Almost instantly upon using Pause, I found myself taking a lot more time throughout the day to enjoy the moment and appreciate those people and environment that I was in. In this fast paced world, it’s easy to get caught up in the momentum and you are simply setting your alarm for the next day repeating a never changing cycle of going through the motions. By having a simple reminder to take step back and realize you are living in the moment, you can’t help but smile and appreciate how grateful and fortunate we really are to have the resources and freedom available to us and that our actions can influence others. This positive appreciation is easily passed to those around you creating an even greater environment.

Life has thrown many curveballs at me and creating obstacles that can be downright draining at times. I used Pause to reflect on what is very important to me which is my family and the foundation they’ve provided me. There was one instance in which I was out with my parents after dinner and they were on the dance floor still in love as if it was their first date. Just then, the Pause bracelet went off and a warm feeling of happiness reminded me just how lucky I am and how much I have to look forward to so I can provide happy memories for my children. Living more aware of how important the little things are make it far greater than getting stuck going through the motions.”

“It is a great experience to wear my pause bracelet. At first, I had to force myself to stop and pause, but I learned that I am capable to slow down, breath, think and pray in the middle of my day, while driving, cooking, running around…just when you think there's just no time to do any of that.

I realized this is something we all MUST do, and wearing the pause bracelet will remind everyone of the important things in life.

My favorite time is when it goes off and I am with my kids. I pause to say I love you, or I am so proud of you, or let's talk about your day. Also with my husband when I will tell him that I love and appreciate him.

We all have those thoughts but we just forget to say them because we're so busy. Sadly pausing is not something we remember to do often enough. The bracelet solves the problem! I end every day knowing that I use my pauses well…I feel very fulfilled.”
